Strategist (Creative)

As a Creative Strategist with the Studio team, you will be a self-starter, owning and managing brand experience projects from start to finish. We want people who aren't scared to experiment and are happy to fill the blank sheets with ideas.

You will work closely with clients to create and improve their approach to connecting with their audience; whether this involves developing new brands from scratch, transforming how they communicate, developing exciting content, campaigns and partnerships or translating the brand feeling to digital and physical experience. It is all about connecting the dots to create a unified brand experience.

You’ll likely work on 

  • Unearthing unique insight and identifying opportunities that will transform the client’s brand, creative, comms and digital approach

  • Driving the briefs and direction for creative and design teams to produce stand-out work

  • Providing a robust framework and plan for communication and campaign activities that drive success, keeping in mind a connected experience

  • Ensuring clients and internal teams buy into your thinking and solutions, through great written and presentation skills

  • Research activities to develop a better understanding of audience/customer needs, attitudes and behaviours, and locate these in market and cultural trends

  • Collaborate with data analysts to uncover and incorporate customer, campaign and digital platform analytics into decision making for clients

  • Setting benchmarks and methods to track performance over time 

You’ll be expected to  

  • Manage projects from brief through to completion  

  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (data analysts, creatives, designers) to flawlessly execute on client deliverables

  • Organise and manage specialists and sub-contractors working on projects (internal and external)

  • Become a trusted partner for clients and help to deepen their knowledge of connected marketing

  • Be a thought leader, open and willing to developing and sharing your expertise in the team and the wider industry


The requirements

  • Experience in the brand, communications, advertising or digital space. Agency experience is a plus

  • An understanding of how a variety of brand and marketing disciplines (brand development, content, campaign planning, media strategy, digital platforms) work together and how to plan over time

  • Interested in consumer dynamics, business dynamics and the changing media and digital landscape 

  • Project management skills

  • Ability to lead a team but also work well in a team 

  • Confident in structuring ideas and solutions but also communicating them effectively

  • Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch

  • University degree - preferably Business, Marketing, Advertising or evidence of grasp of key concepts
